GUIDE / YOUR CONTEXT

Sources and memory

Folders, adding from a source and information stored in memory.

STEP 01

Sources: computer folders

Connect folders from which you want to read documents and photos.

Open Sources and select an empty tile; press “Connect”.

Specify the folder on your Mac or Windows computer and save the connection.

To stop using a source, select it and use “Revoke”, reading the proposed confirmation.

A path must refer to the computer running OmniAgents; a disconnected or unreachable folder needs to be reconnected.

STEP 02

Add from a source

The Add command starts with the source and lets you choose what to keep.

Open the relevant section and press its “Add” command.

Choose a source. If it is not connected, use “Connect” and complete sign-in in Integrations or Apps.

In the source list, search for items, select them and press “Add selected”. Use file selection for a file on your computer; Google Photos opens the Google picker.

When “Manual” is offered, enter the requested details yourself. For Documents, create the record and attach the file from the record.

The offered sources depend on the type of content. A manually entered event stays in memory: creating an event in Google Calendar is a separate action.

STEP 03

Manual, Knowledge and conversation memory

The three internal sources serve different purposes.

In Sources, “OmniAgents Manual” contains product instructions the AI consults to guide you.

“Knowledge AI×9” collects knowledge derived from sources; “Conversation memory” concerns conversations saved in OmniAgents.

To pause an internal source, select it and press “Revoke”. Use “Connect” to enable it again.

Disabling an internal source does not delete its contents. Conversation memory contains conversations saved in OmniAgents, not automatically all chats from AI services.
