Where Meta data is stored
OmniAgents is desktop software. In the free edition, imported Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp Business content stays in the local OmniAgents instance on your computer; access tokens are stored encrypted. The provider does not keep a server-side archive of that content. The omniagents.link relay forwards login responses and notifications, using temporary memory while forwarding them rather than a persistent content archive. Technical security records are separate from message content.
If you request AI processing, the relevant content is transmitted to the AI provider you selected. Deleting the local instance does not erase copies held by Meta, that AI provider, or backups and exports you made outside the instance. For Business, the applicable storage environment and deletion responsibilities are described in the contract.
The current relay does not provide a persistent Meta-content queue for retrieval while the computer is offline. Delivery depends on the connected computer being available and any retries by the source service; recovery of every message received while offline is not guaranteed. Any changes to this processing will be documented before activation.
1. Disconnect Meta in OmniAgents
Open OmniAgents → Integrations → select the Meta or WhatsApp Business tile → Revoke.
Disconnecting on this computer stops this installation from connecting to and using the source. To also request revocation of the authorization at Google or Meta, select “Remove access everywhere” when confirming revocation. The app distinguishes local disconnection from the provider’s revocation outcome. If the provider does not confirm revocation, the outcome remains unconfirmed; credentials needed for a retry may remain encrypted on your computer so that revocation can be retried, without reactivating source acquisition. You can also revoke authorization directly in your Google or Meta account security settings. Disconnecting or revoking access does not automatically delete data already imported into your archive: deleting data is a separate operation.
2. Delete imported content from the free edition
To remove a message from the Messages list: open the message → Delete → Remove from list. The message is hidden in OmniAgents (you can undo right away with "Undo"); the original stays on Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp. To delete a message you added to memory: Messages → "In memoria" (In memory) section → open the message → "Rimuovi dalla memoria" (Remove from memory). Removing a message from the list does not delete it from your computer: to delete all data, use "Delete account" (below).
Review the revocation outcomes before deleting your account. The deletion flow also attempts to revoke connected services, but a successful local deletion does not prove revocation at Meta, Google or another app. Complete unconfirmed revocations in the provider’s settings. On Mac and Windows, open OmniAgents → Account → “Delete account”, enter your current password and the confirmation shown, then choose “Delete account and all data”. You may save a backup outside the local instance first.
To delete your account and local data, follow the Delete account page. Local deletion and remote revocation have separate outcomes; external copies are not removed.
This starts permanent removal of the entire local OmniAgents instance, including non-Meta data. It is not a selective Meta-data deletion. Wait for the removal process to complete; the initial acknowledgement schedules the operation and does not certify completion. Copies exported or backed up outside the instance and data still held by Meta or an AI provider are not removed by this operation.
For Business, use the deletion and export procedure for the customer environment, or contact us below. Do not apply the free edition’s account-removal instructions to a Business environment.
3. Remove OmniAgents from your Meta accounts
Remove the app in Meta’s settings to complete or independently verify disconnection:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → OmniAgents → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → OmniAgents → Remove.
- WhatsApp Business: Meta Business Suite → Settings → Business settings → Accounts → WhatsApp accounts → select your account → Partners / Connected apps → remove OmniAgents.
Menu names can vary by account or Meta interface version. Removing access in Meta does not delete data already imported into OmniAgents, and the app on your computer is not notified: also follow steps 1 and 2.
